Golf Channel's Johnson Wagner was the real winner at Pinehurst on Sunday.
The former PGA Tour player decided to re-enact the best shot of the day during his 'Live From' TV segment - Bryson DeChambeau's stunning 54-yard bunker shot on No. 18 that all but won him the 2024 U.S. Open.
Wagner stepped into the bunker on the 18th hole in mostly darkness and hit his first attempt well over the green.
“That clubhouse is looking at me, Brandel,” Wagner said as it soared out. “Sit. Sit, sit.”
"I was worried about hitting a window," he joked as he sent the ball over the green.
Hours earlier, DeChambeau executed the same shot to perfection with a 55-degree wedge, putting his approach to within four feet of the cup.

He then made the putt for par, clinching his second U.S. Open title by one shot over a crestfallen Rory McIlroy who had missed par putts from inside three feet out on No. 16 and No. 18 to blow his lead.
Moments after Wagner had sent his first attempt way long, the champion himself, DeChambeau, pulled up in a cart with his trophy in hand to offer some words of advice.
The two-time major champ got in the bunker alongside Wagner and suggested a few tips while discussing his dramatic victory.
Wagner eventually had a go at a second shot and hit it within feet of the cup - closer than what Bryson managed a few hours earlier.
The pair celebrated the amazing shot and high-fived as DeChambeau handed over his trophy.
"I guess I'm never going to win the U.S. Open now that I touched it," Wagner said after taking pictures with it.

“That’s perfect. You just needed me around,” DeChambeau said. “You did it better than me.”
“Player B is always better than Player A,” Wagner said.
The clip immediately went viral with some calling it the 'greatest post-round clip ever'.
"What a baller. 1 foot from the cup, that memory will be with him forever. How awesome," one fan remarked.
"Greatest post-round clip ever!" added another.
"This was PHENOMENAL TV!" a third posted.
Wagner ended the segment by pointing to the clubhouse and asking DeChambeau for a drink.
"Do I get to have a cold one with you?" Wagner said.
"Absolutely, let's go," DeChambeau replied.
