Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a Premier League double raid to replace Kylian Mbappe, but Marcus Rashford is not on the club's radar.
The French champions are coming to terms with Mbappe’s decision to leave the club at the end of his contract in June after seven seasons at the club.
Mbappe is widely expected to sign for Real Madrid, bringing an end to one of modern football’s most tiresome transfer sagas.
PSG find themselves in the precarious position of having to replace arguably the world’s best player whilst aiming to entice a generation of talent to the club’s revamped project.
Rashford’s links with the capital club have resurfaced following a summer of flirting in 2022 but French football journalist Julien Laurens revealed the French giants are prioritising two other Premier League stars ahead of the Manchester United forward.
“At the moment, Rashford is not in the shortlist that PSG have drawn up,” Laurens told talkSPORT. “They had a plan in case Kylian was leaving.

“Now that he is leaving, they can activate the plan. On the plan you find Bruno Guimaraes and Bernardo SIlva from the Premier League and [Victor] Osimhen and [Rafael] Leao from Serie A.
“Also a young defender from France, Leny Yoro who’s only 18 but who is maybe the most gifted player of his generation that a lot of English club’s are also following.
“Right now, this is the shortlist. Ideally then could sign two of those five, maybe one, maybe three. It depends on a lot of things.”
Laurens revealed that the origin of Rashford’s PSG links was sparked by the England international’s friendship with Mbappe.
The World Cup winner proposed Rashford’s arrival at the Parc des Princes but his impending exit will rule out any future link up at club level.
“Rashford is not there [on the list]," Laurens added. "He might be there, remember last summer and the summer before his brother met with Nasser Al-Khelaifi the PSG chairman but that was more to please Mbappe because he wanted to play with Rashford they are good friends.
