Paris Saint-Germain starlet Ethan Mbappe has confirmed he will be leaving as a free agent by issuing a heartfelt goodbye on social media.

The 17-year-old midfielder will follow brother Kylian out the door at Parc des Princes when their contracts in the French capital expire on June 30.

Ethan made his Les Parisiens debut at the age of 15 in December 2022 in a friendly victory over Paris FC.

And his official senior debut came in PSG's 3-1 against Metz 12 months later aged just 16.

It was one of three league outings he made for the Ligue 1 champions, while he also featured twice in the club's successful Coupe de France campaign.

But just like his older sibling who called time on his PSG career in order to link up with Real Madrid, Ethan will also be moving on this summer.

Taking to Instagram, the youngster shared a number of pictures from his time spent in the academy, along with one of him and Kylian on the pitch following a match.

In a heartfelt message to the PSG faithful, he said: "With the soul of a child and a supporter from birth, I discovered you with eyes full of dreams.

"That was nearly seven years ago, and I had no idea that we would be living such an adventure together.

"It was the start of seven years of red and blue in my daily life and in my heart.

"Seven years of encounters that have left an indelible mark on me. Seven years of priceless human and sporting memories.

"From the carefree days of childhood to my first steps as a professional, you laid the best foundations for the man and player I aspire to become.

"For everything you've given me, for all the wonderful people you've put in my path and for the way you've helped me grow, on behalf of my sincere love for you, I say thank you and goodbye PSG."

Mbappe is believed to have no shortage of admirers as clubs look to secure his signature.
