Laura Woods keeps it together as Ian Wright dances on ITV and Roy Keane tells off Gary Neville

Laura Woods has yet again proved why she is the ultimate professional after keeping it together in the face of utter studio chaos.

Woods was joined in the ITV studio by pundits Ian Wright, Gary Neville and Roy Keane for coverage of France's Euro 2024 opening 1-0 win over Austria.

But the broadcaster had a tough job on her hands trying to keep proceedings in order on the ITV Sport set out in Germany as her companions were clearly feeling in a rather playful mood indeed.

It began as Wright broke out into a spirited rendition of 'Best of My Love' by The Emotions, paired with some unique dance moves that got more and more energetic as he went on.

But Neville had other, bigger issues on his mind.

"We should all be flying to Royal Ascot tomorrow with ITV!" he piped up, with a dead-serious expression on his face.

Wright, now even more engrossed in his dancing, briefly paused his routine to voice his agreement.

"Do you know what we should do?" he suggested. "We should fly in. We should fly in."

As the noise continued to build beside her, Woodsy began trying to let viewers know about ITV' s coverage of Royal Ascot.

But not even the knowledge of being live on television was enough to stop the shenanigans.

"I've never been. I've never been!" said Neville in disbelief, as he continued to mull over his disappointment at missing Royal Ascot.

He was eventually prodded by the exceptionally well-behaved Keane who gestured to Woods and mouthed: "She's talking!"

"Ey?" said the oblivious Neville - still clearly occupied by thoughts of distant horse races.

"SHE'S TALKING!" Mouthed Keane more animatedly, prompting a sheepish look from Neville as he quietened down to listen to Woods.

But nothing could stop Wright, who - despite having ceased with his singing - continued with his interesting moves, evidently now dancing to a tune that only he could hear.

And as Woods reached her final few lines, she could not help but let out a laugh as she caught sight of Wright's antics.

She finished off by addressing the viewers: "If you're wondering what is making me laugh - you're going to stop now, aren't you - just having a little boogie to that song!"
