Manchester United are ready to extend the contract of sought-after Scott McTominay to keep him at Old Trafford.

This time last year Man United were open to offers for McTominay, who was attracting interest from West Ham and Newcastle.

But the Scotland ace went on to become one of the Red Devils' standout performers, scoring ten goals and helping them win the FA Cup.

United have already rebuffed interest from Turkish side Galatasary in McTominay while Fulham are eyeing him as a potential Joao Palhinha replacement.

The 27-year-old's current deal expires next summer but United have the option of triggering an extra year.

Dom decision

West Ham are the latest Premier League club showing an interest in Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Calvert-Lewin was wanted by Newcastle prior to last month's Profit and Sustainability Rules deadline but the Magpies baulked at paying Everton's £40m asking price.

While it is unlikely West Ham owner David Sullivan would sanction paying such a high fee for a player with a troubling injury record, he is among their potential striker targets.

Calvert-Lewin is in the final year of his contract and suitors are hoping Everton will lower their valuation as the transfer window draws to a close.

Priced out

Wolves quoted Marseille 'a ridiculous figure' to fend off their interest in striker Hwang Hee-Chan, sources have told talkSPORT.

Former Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi, now in charge of the French club, is keen to take Hwang to Ligue 1.

But Wolves boss Gary O'Neil has made it clear he does not want to lose Hwang at any cost.

The South Korean scored 13 goals last season and played a key role in O'Neil comfortably keeping Wolves in the Premier League.

Wolves are under no financial pressure to sell after Max Kilman's £40m switch to West Ham.

talkSPORT understands the Italian has once again signalled his desire to leave after Everton held fresh talks with his advisers.

Leeds have already lost Archie Gray to Tottenham and there is interest in Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville.
