Kylian Mbappe is not LaLiga’s top earner – but is in top ten with Real Madrid teammates, including Jude Bellingham
Kylian Mbappe is not LaLiga’s highest paid player despite signing an eye-watering contract with Real Madrid.
The Frenchman is now earning an extraordinary amount following his high-profile move to the Bernabeu this summer, with his deal including an £85.6million signing on fee.
He will earn a whopping £26.3m a season at Madrid.
But believe it or not, there are two other players in La Liga who will be receiving more money in their bank accounts than him.
Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski and midfielder Frenkie de Jong are set to earn more, The Sun reports.
De Jong - who has been linked with a move to Manchester United over the years - is the highest paid star in the league, scooping up an eye-watering £31.6m a year.

Lewandowski, meanwhile, edges Mbappe by taking home £28.2m per year.
Mbappe’s Real Madrid teammate, England star Jude Bellingham, takes home £15.8m a year.
That makes him the seventh highest earner in Spain’s top flight, with six Los Blancos stars making up the top ten.
David Alaba comes after Mbappe (£19m), then Jan Oblak (£17.5m), then Vinicius Jr (£17.5m).
Bellingham’s wage is followed by Ilkay Gundogan’s (£14m), Federico Valverde’s (£12.6m) and Thibaut Courtois’ £12.2m).
Barring any injuries or setbacks relating to his nose - which he broke at Euro 2024 - Mbappe will play his first match at the Super Cup against Atalanta.
Real Madrid are scheduled to face the 2024 Europa League winners at the National Stadium, Warsaw, on August 14.
That means he can win a trophy in his first game as a Real Madrid player.
Real Madrid start their LaLiga campaign against Mallorca on August 18, and Mbappe's first home league game would be a week later against Real Valladolid.
