Max Verstappen, by his own admission, is no longer behind the wheel of the fastest car having seen Lando Norris secure pole last time out.
However, the Dutchman's superior race craft saw him claim victory in Spain and he returns to a venue in which he has won five times.
And Verstappen has proved his superiority once again after winning the Sprint race from pole ahead of qualifying this afternoon.
Norris' maiden F1 podium came in Austria, with Lewis Hamilton's third-placed finish last weekend suggesting Mercedes may be in line to return to the fight at the front as well.
