Eddie Hearn has insisted that he wasn't trying to intercept Martin Brundle for an interview at the British Grand Prix.
The Matchroom Boxing chief was in attendance at Silverstone race track to witness Lewis Hamilton record his first F1 win since 2021.
Before the main race got underway, Hearn joined several big-name celebrities on the grid, to get a closer look at the cars and interact with the engineers and drivers.
Sky Sports presenter Brundle was, as always, down on the track grabbing A-list guests and F1 personnel for his beloved impromptu interviews and managed to bag a quick chat with long-distance running legend Mo Farah on Sunday.
After their interview had wrapped up, Hearn walked into frame and greeted his Soccer Aid teammate.
Despite not even glancing over at Brundle, several social media accounts claimed Hearn had only gone over to Farah to 'play off' the fact that he was trying to get some air time on Sky Sports.

Speaking to iFL TV about the reaction online, Hearn said: "I've got friends I grew up with who I know will be like, 'F***ing go on Eddie, you're smashing it, son.'
"They're the people who are championing you to do well and want you to be happy in life. They want you to do well.
"And then there's the others, who are just like dying for you to fail.
"It was just like the other day - I was at the Formula 1 and I was standing on the grid.
"I'm walking down the grid and Mo Farah's over there. Now he's my England team-mate, Mo Farah, he was with me at Soccer Aid.
"So I'm walking down the grid and I look over and see Mo, and he's doing an interview.

"Now I have no idea, apparently he's doing it with Martin Brundle - I know the name but I genuinely didn't know it was Martin Brundle who was interviewing him.
"So I'm standing there and I just want to say hello to Mo.
"Martin Brundle finishes and I go, 'Mo,' you can even see me say it, and I walk over.
"And it kind of looks, it doesn't really, but you could say I was trying to get an interview with Martin Brundle. But I go straight over to Mo.
"Mate, my social media was like, 'Did you see Hearn getting mugged off by Brundle? Yes!!'
"I'm like, 'No, I was just saying hello to Mo.' They're like, 'No you weren't Hearn, he didn't know who you were, f***ing loser.'

"It's like, f*** me, you need help. They're the ones, they'll never achieve nothing and they'll never find happiness."
