
Marco Reus capped his final home match for Borussia Dortmund in style with a stunning free-kick.
The midfielder announced that he would be leaving the club at the end of his contract this summer after 12 seasons with the Bundesliga giants.
With Dortmund facing Darmstadt in their final league clash of the season, fans at Signal Iduna Park paid an emotional tribute to the 34-year-old before kick-off.
In his time at the club, Reus has made 427 appearances, scoring 169 times.
Before the teams emerged, 'The Yellow Wall' unveiled a stunning mosaic of yellow and black with a number 11 jersey - Reus' shirt number - with the message 'Danke Marco' with translates to 'thankyou Marco'.
The huge send-off for Reus was not limited to pre-match though, with the midfielder getting his moment to shine after Ian Maatsen's opener.

Standing over a free-kick at the edge of the area, Reus curling a wonderful effort over the wall and into the top corner of the net to make it 2-0 to Dortmund, who went on to win 4-0.
Reus, who was replaced in the 82nd minute, was then given a guard of honour by his Dortmund teammates.
The attacking midfielder signed for Dortmund from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012 and has gone on to become one of the club’s most iconic stars.
Reus could make his final appearance for the club in the Champions League final with Real Madrid at Wembley and announced his plans in an emotional video earlier this month.
“Well, how should I begin?,” Reus said in a video posted on the club’s social media platforms.
“Dear BVB supporters. I was allowed to play in this wonderful stadium for 12 years. I’ve dedicated half of my life to this club with many highs and lows. It was mainly highs, I’d say.

“The club and I have come to the decision not to extend my contract. It made me incredibly proud and I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to play for this club for so many years.
“It’s quite hard for me right now to find the right words nevertheless, it’s important for me to tell you fans first. We also have a big goal in sight. We want to go to Wembley.
“We want to bring this trophy to Dortmund again and that is why it is important that the decision has been made and that concludes this issue.
“Now we are all focusing on this major goal and we’ll see each other a few more times in this wonderful stadium.”

Reus also made a special gesture to Dortmund fans at the Signal Iduna Park by offering them free beer at the match.
"Thank you for everything! The farewell beer is on me. Your Marco," read a note above one of the bars in an image shared on social media.
