‘Stupid girls keep breaking my heart’ – MMA prospect stuns fans with X-rated meltdown after winning fight

Iyean Varela had a bizarre meltdown after his latest MMA fight.

The American moved to 2-0 as a professional when he locked up a first-round guillotine submission on Emerson Garcia at Fury FC 94 on Saturday night.

What should’ve been a joyous moment turned into a viral nightmare.

Varela gave what is probably the angriest post-fight interview in MMA history.

“That s*** happens to me all the time, I’m used to this s***,” he began.

However, he soon started shouting at the top of his voice while discussing his coach Ray Borg, who famously challenged Demetrious Johnson for the UFC flyweight title in 2017.

Varela screamed: “I f***ing train with Ray Borg. He’s a f***ing flyweight motherf***er.”

After that, the 125lb prospect abruptly changed the conversation from the fight and his coach to the personal issues he is currently dealing with.

"I’m f***ing heartbroken. Time-out,” Varela said.

“The only reason I got into this sport was because these f***ing stupid girls wanna keep f***ing breaking my f***ing heart.

“And my grandma f***ing died. So, yeah, I’m a little heated. F*** off.”

The person interviewing him didn’t know what to do, so he let out a little chuckle and wished Varela well with his career before the commentators weighed in.

One member of the broadcast team referenced Jason Bateman’s famous line from the film Dodgeball, he said: “That’s a bold strategy to win fans, let’s see if it pays off.”

Everyone laughed and the topic of conversation quickly changed.

Varela’s wacky outburst soon made its way to social media and fans voiced their opinions.

One person tweeted: “Bro went right off a cliff with that interview.”

Another said: “He seems quite well adjusted. I can't see why the ladies don't want him. No idea at all.”

A third person commented: “What makes this even better is his Instagram bio seems to indicate he's an elementary school teacher. I bet his class is an absolute blast.”

Someone else joked: “Just the right kind of crazy for MMA. This kid is going places.”

Varela has since issued an apology for his behaviour after beating Garcia.

“I’m a nice guy I swear,” he wrote on Instagram. "Just lost my grandma and a lot of people have hurt me on the way guys. I was emotional. Sorry!”
