Stephen Curry is playing in the Olympics for the first time.
The best shooter in NBA history is uniting with LeBron James, a former rival who's attempting to win his third gold medal this summer in Paris.

But while Team USA has huge basketball names in 2024 and is already being compared to the legendary Dream Team from 1992 that was led by Michael Jordan, there's only one true Olympics superstar for the United States.
And that's according to The King himself.
“She’s the best,” James said. “It’s that simple. She’s the best.”
"She" is Simone Biles.

If the men's basketball team gets what it's hoping for, a gold medal in Paris will be celebrated by having a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch Biles up close.
“I heard it’s really expensive to get in,” Indiana guard Tyrese Haliburton said. “But I think I can make that work.”
Haliburton signed a $244 million contract with the Pacers, which shows how much of a draw Biles is for some of the best basketball players on the planet.
Biles has four gold medals and seven Olympic medals overall.

With the sports world focusing on Paris for two weeks, Biles will be the biggest athletic name on the planet.
“It’s really inspiring,” Phoenix guard Devin Booker said.

Hezly Rivera was in elementary school when she first met Biles.
Now, the the 16-year-old gymnast is preparing for the 2024 Olympics after becoming an unexpected addition to the US women's team.
“I can’t believe I’m part of this team,” Rivera said. “I never would have thought this would happen.”
Kevin Durant is the all-time leading scorer in US men's Olympics history.
He wants another gold in Paris.

The two-time NBA champion and Curry's former teammate with the Warriors also has "got to" watch Biles in person.
Team USA basketball is big.
Biles is already the real star of the 2024 Summer Olympics.
“I want to go check her out," Durant said. "I’ve always been a fan of what she was doing.
