Andre Ward has sparked speculation that he could make a boxing comeback.
The legendary former pound-for-pound king quit the sport at the top of the game in 2017 after knocking out Sergey Kovalev in their rematch.

Ward has hinted at a return on a few occasions over the seven years since, but not stepped back into the ring.
Now 40, most believe he'll never fight again.
However, on Saturday night Ward took to social media to post an intriguing video.
The clip teased an announcement on Monday, July 22, with the caption: "I WANT ALL THE SMOKE."

It seems most likely this will be some form of business venture, though many fans have started to theorise that it may well be a boxing return.
One commented: "Ward vs Canelo at 175lbs."
A second fan wrote: "Is he going to answer for all the sly shots at @Canelo thru the years?"
While a third said: "Ward vs Canelo let’s go."

And a fourth added: "A couple tune up fights one this year and next year Canelo bottom of next year."
Canelo's next fight is currently up in the air.

The Mexican superstar is known to have been in talks for a September showdown with either Edgar Berlanga or Chris Eubank Jr, though neither opponent has enthused fans and no announcement has been made yet either way.
Ward did return to the gym this past week and has been sparring with Terence Crawford.

A shock Canelo vs Ward fight certainly would make headlines around the world, but still seems very unlikely.
Instead one fan commented: "Bro about to start a podcast."
While a second suggested Ward is simply: "Begging for attention."

Fans will find out for sure on Monday whether Ward is making a boxing return.
