I’m the overlooked superstar who scored more points for Team USA in the Olympics than LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant

But one player reigns supreme in Team USA history.

And she might be the most underrated basketball player of all time.

With the Summer Olympics in Paris inching closer, the Team USA men's and women's squads will be at the center of the 2024 Games.

International victories will be celebrated, records will be broken and gold medals will be rewarded.

Durant holds the Team USA men's basketball record for all-time Olympic scoring with 435 points.

But the two-time NBA champion is not on top.

That honor goes to Lisa Leslie, who possesses four gold medals and rewrote the record book for women's basketball.

Leslie scored 488 points during her Olympic career.

She also holds women's basketball Olympic records for career rebounds and blocks, and points in a game.

"Legend for sure," one fan tweeted.

"The GOAT," a second fan posted.

"We adore Lisa," a third fan wrote.

Leslie ended her Olympic career as only the second player to win four gold medals.

She was the first player to dunk in the WNBA, won two championships and earned three MVP awards.

"I feel like I'm mentally stronger than most cats on the planet," she said. "That's just a part of who I am."

The California native also once scored 101 points during a high school game -- in one half.

"It's like a dream," Leslie said. "It's still unbelievable when you think it's only 16 minutes."

Durant and Carmelo Anthony are the only male Olympic basketball players for the US with three gold medals.

Entering the 2024 Paris Olympics, Durant has 435 points in 22 games.

Carmelo Anthony is second with 336 points, while James is third with 273.

Jordan scored 256 points and also won two golds, in 1984 out of North Carolina, and in 1992 with the legendary Dream Team.
