The New York Giants still believe in Daniel Jones.

So much that behind-the-scenes footage revealed a stunning way in which the Giants chose to publicly back their often-injured quarterback.

After years of providing NFL fans with rare access to training camp and the regular season, HBO's Hard Knocks is now showing how teams are constructed in the offseason.

The loss of Saquon Barkley to the rival Philadelphia Eagles was a major plot point for the Giants.

So is the decision to stand behind Jones at QB, despite the fifth-year pro only playing in six games last year and going 1-5.

The Giants finished 6-11 and failed to make the playoffs under head coach Brian Daboll, Jones only threw two touchdowns compared to six interceptions and had a woeful 70.5 passer rating. Third stringer Tommy DeVito gathered more attention for his impact.

As well-placed cameras captured the Giants' private conversations during the 2024 offseason, New York general manager Joe Schoen offered a scathing assessment of last year's team.

"(Against) Miami, we've got three f****** practice squad guys playing for us," Schoen said. "Nobody could f****** -- you could have Pat Mahomes and he can't f****** win behind that."

As the harsh words were spoken, other New York employees stared dead-faced back at the GM and didn't disagree.

"I'm not giving up on him (Jones)," Schoen said. "He's under contract for three more years."

Fans agreed with the harsh words, taking up for Jones and pointing out that he didn't have much help in 2023.

"Funny how he gets it and most fans don’t," one fan tweeted.

Chiefs insider Blair Kirkhoff believes it's likely the team will leave Kansas City for new billion-dollar stadium

"I’ve said this very thing numerous times," a second fan posted. "But who am I?"

"He speaks truth," a third fan wrote.

Jones clearly has NFL starter talent.

He was the No. 6 pick of the 2019 NFL Draft after a promising college run at Duke.

Jones was at his best in 2022, going 9-6-1 while leading the Giants to the playoffs and completing 67.2 percent of his passes for 3,205 yards, 15 touchdowns and just five interceptions.

But it all fell apart for New York and Jones last season, and there were serious rumors involving the Giants trading up for or simply drafting a young QB in April.

Jones is the answer -- for now.

But unless he gets some real help, New York has made it clear that not even Mahomes -- the best QB in the league and reigning Super Bowl MVP -- could win with the Giants.
