Nick Chubb appears to be more machine than man.
The Cleveland Browns' standout running back suffered a devastating knee injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 of the 2023 NFL season that abruptly ended his campaign.
The four-time Pro Bowler underwent surgery to repair his MCL and meniscus, and subsequent surgery to repair his ACL.
Chubb’s recovery has been long and arduous, but few would have predicted he'd be crushing huge weights this early into his rehabilitation.
Viral footage recently showed the 227lbs offensive juggernaut easily squatting a whopping 585lbs - just eight months after serious knee surgery.
It's not quite the 675 pounds we’ve seen him squat in the past, but his traumatic leg injuries barely looked to have made a dent on the six-year NFL veteran's impressive strength.

"This is a real Iron man!" wrote another.
"Monster. Nick Chubb is built different," added a third.
Brown is entering the prime of his career, and although he isn't close to being cleared for football activities his latest workout video shows encouraging signs.
The 28-year-old began running in April, but is yet to participate in team drills at OTAs.
Despite obvious progress after the surgeries, question marks will continue about his durability heading into training camp at the end of July.

Chubb has an unfortunate history of catastrophic knee injuries and went through an ACL reconstruction as a sophomore at Georgia that caused him to miss the bulk of the 2015 college football season.
His recent injury setback was a major blow to the Browns - no player has been more important to their offense than Chubb since he entered the league in 2018.
He set career-highs in rushing attempts, rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in 2022 and was off to a strong start in 2023 before his injury.
When he returns, Chubb will undoubtedly be an integral cog in the Browns' offense.
However, some have questioned Chubb's ability to regain his previous form - something he says has motivated him during his rehab.
“I use that as motivation,” Chubb said. “I see everything. It’s not the first time someone has counted me out, so I’ve been here before, and I’m not really paying much attention to it. But I do see it, and I’m just focusing on getting better.”
The Georgia native has left no stone unturned in his mission to get back to full health.
Private NFL running backs coach Brad Lester recently said he's never seen anyone recover as quick as Chubb has.
“I will honestly say I have never seen anyone recover as fast as he has so far,” Lester said.

“After certain movements, I was kind of like, ‘How do you feel?’ And he’d say ‘I was fine.’ I was like ‘man, this is pretty impressive.’ To be seven months out and he didn’t have any pains in the workout.”
The RB now has a race against time to be fit for the Week 1 match-up with the Dallas Cowboys on 8 September.
