Pole-vaulters Katie Moon and Nina Kennedy decided to share World Championship gold in a heartwarming chat on Wednesday.
USA star Moon and Australia sensation Kennedy both cleared 4.90m and failed on all three attempts at 4.95m in Budapest.

After an exhausting 130-minute showdown, the two rivals looked set for a jump-off to crown a world champion, before a touching moment between the pair.
Moon and Kennedy came together and suggested the idea of sharing the gold medal.
Footage shows the duo falling into each other's arms in delight when the mutual decision was made, before Kennedy bursts into tears.
Speaking afterwards, Kennedy explained: “Katie is the Olympic champion, the world champion, she is one of the greatest in the sport and to share it with her is an honour and a privilege.

“When we were equal, we were both looking at each other. I didn’t think she was going to want to share it.
"I said to her, 'Hey girl, you maybe want to share?' You could see the relief come over her face, and she was like, 'Yes!' and then we both started crying.”
Meanwhile, Moon admitted she did not consider herself one for sharing medals until the moment arose.
The American added: "When the final started I didn't think about sharing a gold medal would work for me but now I am completely satisfied.
