Mike Tyson was forced to pull out of his fight with Jake Paul tonight but will keep one eye on the YouTuber's return to action.

The duo are set to finally come to blows in November after Paul was needed to rescue their July 20 card with a bout against Mike Perry.

Perry is set to take part in just his second professional boxing fight, and he is very much seen as a warm-up for Paul's clash against Tyson.

After overcoming medical concerns, Tyson is preparing to return to training and he could pay a visit to Florida to see the Problem Child.

Will Mike Tyson be at Jake Paul vs Mike Perry?

It is yet to be confirmed if Tyson will be in attendance or not.

However, his agent, Andrew Ruf, indicated the former multiple-heavyweight champion would be watching very closely.

Speaking about the fight, he said: "Mike supports it 100 percent and we’ll see how it plays out.

"We’ll be watching very intently."

Tyson's agent stopped short of revealing if Tyson will be watching Paul from inside the Amalie Arena or from a more remote location.

Traditionally, boxers who plan to face each other or have future fights arranged tend to turn up and watch their opponents - as Paul has previously ahead of his clash with Tommy Fury.

It all adds to the theatre and drama, especially if the duo square up in the ring.

Certainly, that would be a great sight to see Tyson and Paul come face-to-face, but we'll have to wait and see if it happens.

Iron Mike has been speaking about facing Paul and has indicated he doesn't think the YouTuber-turned-boxer can do anything to him.

He said: "I don’t think he can hurt me.

"I’m a glory junkie. I love people thinking about me all day. I’d rather live a short life of glory than a long life of obscurity. It’s just who I am.

"This is all I started fighting for to get all this f****** status. I’m going to be chasing it for the rest of my life, I know that. I’m never going to get what I want because I’m one of those gluttons for pain. I can never get enough."

Of course, the fight would be in jeopardy should Paul lose to Perry, a concept the Baddest Man on the Planet was seemingly anxious over.

Speaking about his upcoming fight against Perry, Paul said: "[Tyson] was concerned about me taking this fight.

"He’s like, 'What is Jake thinking? This guy Mike Perry is a killer.' So, he had some concerns.

"But Tyson, my message to you is don’t worry. I’m going to put this guy to sleep. This is a Mike appetiser, and you’re next."

Should Paul win, it would be brilliant to see Tyson get in the ring with him ahead of their rearranged fight later this year.

However, the American's camp are giving very little away, so it remains to be seen if the 58-year-old makes an appearance.
